When should I decide?

It is a good idea to request information as early as possible to allow you time to ask questions and discuss all aspects of the service with us. Our Umbilical Cord Blood Collection and Storage Welcome Pack contains much information, please review the information and contact us with any other questions.

At your booking appointment, please make sure you include a request to consider umbilical cord blood stem cell storage as part of your birth plan.  Review the collection procedure with your midwife or consultant and birth partner, to make sure all parties are aware of your wishes.

Upon receipt of payment and a signed copy of the Cells4Life storage agreement, the Cells4Life collection kit is dispatched by special delivery. This will reach you by 12pm the following working day.

If a Cells4Life collection kit is required urgently we can courier one out to you at short notice. However an additional courier fee will be charged dependant upon the distance our couriers have to travel to get your kit to you in time.
